Crime Victims Support Group receives visit from Vacca, Crowley

Councilman James Vacca and Congressman Joe Crowley visited the Crime Victims Support Group Services of the North Bronx on Wednesday, August 26. The two elected officials, who have provided a total of $12,500 to the non-profit organization, stopped by the group’s headquarters to discuss how cut backs in funding has had detrimental impacts on the group’s work. They also discussed new ways the group can receive funding with founder and executive director Joanne Cicero.
