Council members Ritchie Torres, Diana Ayala, Rafael Salamanca and Vanessa Gibson co-hosted their Women’s History Month Celebration on Saturday, March 30 at the New York Botanical Garden.
Aurora Carrion was honored to receive a City Council proclamation at the event.

This year’s honorees were Leandra Feliz, mother of the late Junior Guzman-Feliz who was brutally murdered in June 2018; Aurea Mangual, DC37 Retirees Association; Lucille White, Sedgwick Houses Tenant Association president and Aurora Carrion, 43rd Precinct Community Council president.
Leandra Feliz was honored with a proclamation from Councilman Torres.
