Calvary Hospital honored unit secretary Angella Thompson with the prestigious ‘Unit Secretary Excellence’ Award on Wednesday, August 24. Thompson, a graduate of Pembroke Hall High School in Kingston, Jamaica, began working as a floating secretary for Calvary in 2012 prior to becoming unit secretary. She was nominated by colleagues and patients’ family members for best exemplifying a ‘healing touch’ presence.
