The New York City Police Department is looking to identify a man who allegedly grabbed a teenage boy’s buttocks in a groping incident in the Bronx six weeks ago.
The incident took place on Monday, Aug. 26, at around 2 p.m. near the intersection of Southern Boulevard and Jennings Street, when a man approached a 15-year-old boy. The suspect then proceeded to grab the boy’s private parts before fleeing on foot, heading southbound along Southern Boulevard. There were no reported injuries as a result of the encounter.
The suspect has been described as a male with a heavy build and dark complexion. At the time of the incident, he was wearing a black T-shirt, khaki shorts, and multi-colored sneakers.
The NYPD has released an image of the suspect captured on a nearby surveillance camera.
