Yesterday, police arrested a Bronx man responsible for the fatal shooting of another Bronx man from February in the 47th Precinct.
The NYPD brought up 54-year-old Lyndon Montague of Byron Avenue on murder, manslaughter and criminal possession of a loaded firearm after his alleged killing of 43-year-old Shameek Lilly of White Plains Road on Monday, February 3.
Officers discovered Lilly in the lobby of his home building with a gunshot wound to the chest, he was brought the to Montefiore Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
The NYPD says that a motive for the killing remains under investigation at this time.
