A lucky Bronx resident is $33,286 richer following the New York Lottery’s TAKE 5 EVENING drawing on Sept. 17. The top-prize winning ticket was sold at Big Three Liquor Inc., located at 3824 E Tremont Ave., bringing excitement to the local community.
The winning numbers for the TAKE 5 drawing were pulled from a field of one through 39, with draws held twice daily at 2:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. The New York Lottery confirmed that the prize can be claimed for up to one year from the date of the drawing.
The New York Lottery continues to be a major contributor to the state’s educational system, having generated $3.8 billion during the 2023-2024 fiscal year to support public schools across New York.
