Police arrested a Bronx P.E. teacher Tuesday for allegedly exposing his penis to six children—some as young as 9 years old— while teaching a gym class at P 723X in Claremont Village, authorities said.

Dana Barschdorf, 44, was nabbed after being seen by a school employee at around 8:45 a.m. on Tuesday wiping his buttocks with a Lysol wipe in front of a group of nine- to 11-year-old students, according to court documents. The witness then allegedly saw Barschdorf insert his penis into the container of wipes in front of the students.

Barschdorf was arrested at 11:30 a.m. at the elementary school, which teaches students with autism, according to the school’s website. He has been charged with endangering the welfare of a child, harassment, and exposure of a person, according to court documents. He was released without bail.

Endangering the welfare of a child is a class A misdemeanor carrying a sentence of up to one year in prison if convicted.

The Department of Education did not immediately respond to a request for comment, but Barschdorf was reportedly reassigned pending an investigation.
