The Bronx 3 CERT (Community Emergency Response Team) team from Community Board 3 received the inaugural Jonann Webb-Dixon NYC CERT Ambassador Award at a CERT graduation ceremony in Brooklyn recently. The Bronx 3 CERT were presented with an award by Joseph Esposito, NYC Emergency Management commissioner; Phylis Byrne, NYPD Auxiliary deputy inspector and James Brosi, FDNY deputy chief.
