The 47th Precinct and 47th Precinct Community Council helped prepare students’ return to the classroom with a School Supply Giveaway Festival on Thursday, August 24 in front of the precinct house.
Students received brand new book bags, scaled a rock wall, participated in carnival games, played chess games courtesy of the Young Kings and Queens Chess Club and enjoyed refreshments.
Shirley Tripicco, a supporter of the 47th Precinct and a key person of the school supplies giveaway, was honored with a gift basket.
