Police re calling on the public for help in locating 13-year-old Makayla Hillsmith

Police are calling on the public for help in finding a 13-year-old Bronx girl who went missing Thursday from her Westchester Avenue home within the confines of the 40th Precinct.

Makayla Hillsmith, who is described as being approximately 5 feet 2 inches tall and weighing about 90 pounds, was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black pants, and black and white sneakers. Police said she was last seen at around 1 p.m., Aug. 8, at her residence.
