VCPA Garden and Compost Site, Van Cortlandt Park

Join the effort to restore Van Cortlandt Park’s urban forest by removing invasive plants such as multiflora rose, bittersweet and porcelain berries. This important work creates space for native plants to flourish, supporting the park’s natural ecosystem. Experienced volunteers will guide participants, sharing insights on forest ecology and restoration techniques.

Bronx Green-Up: Mushroom Cultivation 101 Workshop

Legal Protection Blueprint for a Rock Solid 2025

Trail Work Thursday

Van Cortlandt Park, Garden and Education Compost Site

Take part in this community effort to keep the trails of Van Cortlandt Park maintained as you engage with fellow community members. Bring water and a snack and dress in comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing. Much of the work will include clearing debris and overgrowth, ensuring trails are safe and accessible and desire line closures.
