On Saturday, September 28, the Kips Bay Boys and Girls Club hosted their 11th annual ‘Day for the Kids Festival’. The event was a celebration to advocate for the borough’s youth and bring awareness to the life-changing work taking place throughout the year by the non-profit organization. In conjunction with the festival, the Kips Bay Boys and Girls Club celebrated the life of NYPD deputy chief Steven Bonano, Bronx native and Kips Bay alum, with two memorial runs.
