Six-story building on Grand Concourse experiences five-alarm blaze

On the evening of Friday, October 4, a five-alarm fire broke out at 1555 Grand Concourse. The fire started on the top floor of the six-story building before spreading to the ceiling and the roof. More than 200 firefighters, along with several EMS units, responded to the scene. It was reported that nine firefighters were injured, along with one civilian.
