44th Precinct

Tuesday, August 27 at approximately 2:25 p.m. – An individual approached a 30 year-old male victim in the vicinity of Clay Avenue and East 167th Street. The individual displayed a firearm, which he discharged two times in the direction of the victim, striking him one time in his leg.

EMS responded and transported the victim to an area hospital in stable condition.

The suspect is described as follows: male, dark skin, wearing a red white and blue hoody.

Friday, August 30, 2019 at approximately 8:25 p.m. – Individuals approached a 30 year-old male victim in the vicinity of East 174th Street and Selwyn Avenue and displayed a firearm. Individual #1 proceeded to point the firearm at the victim, prompting the victim to attempted to gain control of the weapon and resist. A shot was fired during the scuffle, striking the victim in the right knee. EMS responded and transported the victim to an area hospital in stable condition. The individuals are described as follows: male #1, black, wearing a black Nike sweatshirt. and male #2, black, wearing Adidas pants.

45th Precinct

Sunday, August 4 at approximately 10:00 p.m – The NYPD is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the males depicted in the attached surveillance photo and video wanted for questioning in connection to a burglary that occurred within the confines of the 45th Precinct. Details are as follows: inside 1801 Edison Avenue (dry cleaners), two unidentified males entered the location through the roof of the establishment. Once inside, the male removed approximately $1,700 from a safe.

49th Precinct

Wednesday, August 21at approximately 1:20 a.m. – An individual approached a 25 year-old male victim in the vicinity of Cruger Avenue and Pelham Parkway South and displayed a firearm. The individual proceeded to discharge the weapon, striking the victim in his arm. The individual then proceeded to remove $3,000 in cash from the victim and pistol whip him repeatedly and fled. EMS responded and transported the victim to an area hospital in stable condition. The individual is described as follows: male, black, mid 20’s.

52nd Precinct

Sunday, August 4, 2019 at 12:15 a.m. – In a basement apartment in a multi-unit residential building in the vicinity of Bainbridge Avenue and Coles Lane, a victim, a 41-year-old female, was asleep in bed when an unidentified male gained entry via an unlocked window. The unidentified male touched the victim’s leg and the victim awakened and screamed. The unidentified male then fled through the window. No property was removed, and the victim was not injured.

The unidentified male is Hispanic. He is 5’04”, 130lbs with a slim build and a ponytail.

Saturday August 24, 2019 at approximately 12:50 a.m. – In front of 755 E. 216th Street, two individuals fired multiple shots at two male victims, a 34-year-old and a 26-year-old, and fled the scene on foot eastbound on East 216th Street and then northbound on Barnes Avenue. The 34-year-old male suffered a gunshot wound to his right leg and the 26-year-old male was shot once in the torso. Both victims were removed to an area hospital in stable condition.

The first individual is a dark-skinned male with a beard; last seen wearing a blue and white hooded sweater, light colored shorts and black and white sneakers.The second individual is a dark-skinned male; last seen wearing a light colored hooded sweater, gray sweatpants and white sneakers.

Saturday August 24, 2019, at approximately 5:23 p.m. – Inside of 49 W. Fordham Road (Rite Aid), the individual placed 36 cans of Monster Energy in a plastic bag and tried to leave without paying for them. When the 38-year-old male employee confronted the individual about the theft, he brandished a hypodermic needle and threatened to poke him with it. The individual fled the scene on foot southbound on Grand Avenue.

The individual is described as a male, Hispanic, 35 to 45 years old, 5’8”, 170lbs; last seen wearing a white shirt, black shorts, and black sneakers.

Wednesday, August 28, 2019 11:30 p.m. – Individuals approached the victim inside the hallway of a residential apartment building in the vicinity Jerome Avenue and East 198th Street and displayed two firearms while attempting to take the victim’s gold neck chain off.

The victim resisted, at which point at least one of the individuals discharged his weapon.

No one was injured by the shots and individuals fled with the victim’s chain.
