Despite the gloomy weather, Irish eyes were still smiling at this year’s Throggs Neck St. Patrick’s Day Parade! The 21st annual Throggs Neck St. Patrick’s Day Parade on Sunday, March 10 featured Celtic-clad marchers and bands traveling on East Tremont Avenue. This year’s groups consisted of local elected officials, schools, the FDNY, pipe and drum bands, community organizations and families representing this year’s honorary grand marshals journeyed down the route which sported a fresh green median and massive shamrock as thousands of Bronxites from all over the borough cheered from the sidelines.
