Police officers from the 49th Precinct responded to a two car collision on Friday, February 16 at 9:15 a.m. at Bronxdale Avenue between Van Nest and Pierce avenues.
According to police, the driver of the first vehicle stated that he was making a broken U-turn to travel southbound on Bronxdale Avenue when another vehicle backed up and struck his vehicle.
The driver of the second vehicle stated that she was attempting to park her vehicle when she backed up and struck the first vehicle.
Police officers did not witness the collision.
The driver of the second vehicle was taken to a local hospital with complaints of pain.
No summonses or arrests were issued following the incident.
