In honor of Valentine’s Day, Senator Jeff Klein hosted his 23rd annual ‘Valentines for Veteran’ Celebration on Wednesday, February 14 at the James J. Peters VA Medical Center. Gifts bags were distributed to veterans who were treated to musical and dance performances by P.S. 105 Children’s Choir, P.S. 83 Rock Band and Icahn Charter School Step Dance Team and visits from retired New York Knicks player and former Olympian medalist Charles Smith, Miss Teen New York Asia Hickman, Miss Bronx Li Ling Rivera and Assemblyman Michael Benedetto.
