In honor of National Mentoring Month, council members Diana Ayala and Mark Gjonaj joined Big Brothers Big Sisters of NYC for two special ‘Bronx Matches of the Year’ ceremonies recognizing local residents for their commitment to mentoring on Monday, January 29. This year’s honorees included Big Brother Aaron Schott and Little Brother Jaylen, Big Sister Kirsten Taylor and Little Sister Jadyn and Big Sister Crystal Sawh and Little Sister Athena.
