Morris Park Community Association, Knights of Columbus, Mary Queen of Peace Council, Morris Park Kiwanis and the American Legion hosted a Veterans Day of Remembrance on Sunday, November 11 at the Rudy Macina Peace Memorial Plaza. The heartfelt ceremony featured a U.S. Marine Corps. color guard, a flag-raising ceremony, taps being played Al Nictona, and the ‘National Anthem’ and ‘God Bless America’ sung by Jillian Cannata and invocation provided by Fr. John Knapp of Our Lady of Assumption.
