Made possible by the Taft Foundation’s $400,000 donation to renovate a 7,000 square feet of vacant space, the Studio DB and Vomar Construction-developed set features a large pirate ship with such nautical accessories as waves, rideable dolphins and sea turtles, a xylophone stingray and pylons forming drums.

Assemblyman Michael Benedetto and Kasey-Lee Hernandez enjoyed the hospital’s new playground.
