Councilwoman Vanessa Gibson hosted her inaugural LGBTQ Summer Brunch on Saturday, July 14 at Bronx Museum of the Arts. This year’s honorees included Clarisa Alayeto, Yothatzpeace founder and senior director; Police Service Area 7 police officer Elizabeth Allain; Grace DeTreverah, Sylvia Rivera Law Project member; Cecilia Gentili, Gay Men’s Health Crisis assistant director of Public Affairs; Daniel Russo, P.S. 294 principal and Justin Toro, Montefiore Adolescent AIDS Program outreach coordinator.
