Over 500 Bronxites celebrated those that survived cancer, enjoyed local entertainment and raised funds for the fight to end cancer at Relay for Life of the Bronx. The annual community event held on Saturday, June 23 at Bay Plaza Shopping Center included a special Cancer Survivor’s Fashion Show organized by Bronx Fashion Week. The showcase featured ten Bronx cancer survivors, ages 15 to 54, modeling clothing donated by UNIQLO USA at the Mall at Bay Plaza. Relay For Life of the Bronx is sponsored by Mall at Bay Plaza, Ponce De Leon Bank, Montefiore Health System and Fordham Road Business Improvement District.
