3 Injured In Tinton Avenue Fire

Three people are recovering following a recent fire in Woodstock.

According to the FDNY, 12 FDNY units and 60 firefighters responded to a third floor fire at 609 Tinton Avenue on Friday, March 9 at 12:07 p.m.

The FDNY was successful in extinguishing the fire and reported three injuries including one civilian and two firefighters.

The injured were taken to North Central Bronx Hospital for treatment.

The fire’s cause remains under investigation.
