Senator Bailey Hosts CAPSLOC Part II

Senator Jamaal Bailey hosted his Churches, Activists and the Police Coming Together in Solidarity for Loving, Outspoken Communities Part II on Saturday, December 9, in collaboration with Monroe College and the 49th and 52nd Precincts.

The follow-up event featured the college’s Law Enforcement Training Simulator which allowed the audience to play the role of the officer in an intense pressure situation.

Panelists included Michele Rodney, Monroe College School of Criminal Justice dean; Sophia White from the Office on Human Rights; Joseph Thompson, 49th Precinct Community Council president; Natalia Fernandez, Governor Cuomo’s Bronx Regional representative; Abdul Johnson, C-Ball League CEO and Monroe College professor Paul Lichtbraun.
