The Bronx Veterans Parade Task Team, Inc. hosted its fourth annual Bronx Veterans Day Parade on Saturday, November 4 in Crotona Park.The annual event commemorating our nation’s war veterans began with a parade on East 175th Street and Crotona Parkway going toward East 180th Street and the Old West Farms Soldiers’ Cemetery. A memorial ceremony honoring the country’s fallen service members was held inside the cemetery where veterans gave a 21-gun salute and planted flags at the veterans’ graves.

Grand marshal La’Tanga Blair made some brief remarks before the ceremony.
Theodore Roosevelt High School JROTC attended the somber memorial.
The NYC Grey Cadets paid their respects to the nation’s fallen veterans.
Senator Ruben Diaz, Sr. displayed his award as he spoke at the ceremony.
