Painting Dedication

Regina Marengo, president of Ensign Engineering, will be dedicating a painting of her late business partner Carl Cannizzaro.

He was a frequent Bronx Times contributor to the Letters to the Editor section and local engineer.

He was board member of the Bronx Chamber of Commerce, his partner said. Cannizzaro passed away suddenly in June.

The painting will hang inside the engineering firm’s office located on Calhoun Avenue.

Fall concert

Fort Schuyler Presbyterian Church is holding its fall concert on Sunday, October 29 featuring the Parkchester Orchestra Chorus.

The concert begins at 4 p.m. Tickets are $20 for adults and $10 for children.

Ceremony remembers veterans’ sacrifices

Local veterans advocate Herb Barret advises that there will be a Veterans Day remembrance on Sunday, November 5 at noon at the veterans memorial in Van Cortlandt Park.
