A McDonald’s night shift manager isn’t ‘lovin’ it’ being arrested for allegedly dealing drugs during work hours.
According to police, Frank Guerrero, 26, used his job to secretly sell cocaine and crack cocaine and allegedly gave drugs to an uncover police officer along with two cheeseburgers, a soda and fries.
Police first became suspicious of the 24-hour McDonald’s at 1600 Bruckner Boulevard which only accepts drive-thru orders during the night shift, but witnessed Guerrero allowing customers into the restaurant late at night.
According to a Special Narcotics Prosecutor’s police officer, on two occasions Guerrero conducted drug sales to an undercover officer over the restaurant counter.
The night manager allegedly concealed cocaine inside a cookie bag which he placed inside a larger McDonald’s order containing two cheeseburgers, a soda and fries while other McDonald’s employees were working.
The undercover officer made increasingly larger purchases and on Friday, September 22 Guerrero allegedly sold him $6,250 of drugs (100 grams of cocaine and a quantity of crack cocaine) in the bathroom which Guerrero retrieved from a soap dispenser.
The undercover officer then took a seat at a booth in the dining room where Guerrero served him a bag of food, police stated.
In the early morning of Tuesday, October 3, police arrested Guerrero at the restaurant after finishing his shift.
Police searched Guerrero’s home where they recovered 200 grams of cocaine and approximately $5,300 in cash from inside a dresser in a child’s play room.
Leidy Cabral Castillo and her two-year-old child were in the apartment at the time and Castillo was arrested and charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, criminally using drug paraphernalia and unlawfully dealing with a child.
Guerrero was charged with criminal sale of a controlled substance, criminal possession of a controlled substance, criminally using drug paraphernalia and unlawful dealing with a child.
