Good Shepherd Service’s Bronx Rise Against Gun Violence program celebrated the grand opening of a state-of-the-art recording studio on Wednesday, August 23 at 1995 Jerome Avenue’s second floor. The studio was the brainchild of Councilman Fernando Cabrera who wanted to get students more involved in music and over the past three years committed roughly $75,000 for its establishment.

(l-r) Assemblyman Victor Pichardo; Elizabeth Garcia, GSS Division Program director; Councilman Cabrera; studio consultant Marquell Byrd; B.R.A.G. director David Caba; Senator Gustavo Rivera and GSS assistant executive director Denise Hinds cut the ribbon.
