Lehman College’s Student Life Building, home to various clubs, a radio station, school newspaper and other student-centric organizations, celebrated the grand opening of the Herbert H. Lehman Food Bank on Wednesday, March 29.
The college is working with Food Bank New York City and the City University of New York to bring the food program to Lehman students.
The food bank located in Room 120 will assist students struggling with food insecurity.
The pantry is open Monday 9:30 to 11:30 a.m., Wednesday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Thursday 1 a.m. to 4 p.m.
