The NYC Emergency Management Department and the Department for the Aging presented the fourth annual Ready New York Senior Center of the Year Award to Evelyn Cintron, Regional Aid for Interim Needs, Inc. Gun Hill Senior Center program director, on Monday, November 21 for her ongoing commitment to preparing seniors for emergencies.
The R.A.I.N. Gun Hill Senior Center is the first Bronx-based senior center to receive the award.
