Providers in the Division of Pediatric Endocrinology and Diabetes at the Children’s Hospital at Montefiore hosted the fourth annual Candy Exchange on Tuesday, November 1 in honor of American Diabetes Month.
CHAM invited children with diabetes to dress in their Halloween best to swap mounds of candy they collected for a toy or gift.
Children and their families enjoyed healthy snacks, games, giveaways, a DJ, photo booth and educational activities helping them learn how to live and manage their condition.
