A Unity and Prayer Solidarity Vigil was held on Friday, August 19 in memory of Wali Camara, a N&A Food employee who was murdered at East 198th Street and Valentine Avenue. Camara, 49, was shot to death by alleged gunman Efrain Guzman, 30, who used an plice officer’s firearm to shoot Camara in the early morning hours of Tuesday, August 9. Guzman was subdued by the responding officers and is charged with murder, attempted murder of a police officer, robbery and assault.
