Neighborhood Development Initiatives Corporation’s M.S. 89 cheerleaders secured some of their best placements of the season at Six Flags’ 26th Annual Cheerfest Cheerleading and Dance Championship on Saturday, May 14. Competing against the tri-state area’s best cheerleaders, the Panthers Varsity squad placed fifth earning a trophy in the Junior High Public Division. The Panthers Junior Varsity squad won first place in the Non Mount Junior Varsity Public Division earning a trophy and Six Flags tickets for the team.
The Panthers Varsity squad earned a victory in the Junior High Public Division.
