Exemplary leaders were recognized at the 56th Annual Benjamin Franklin Reform Democratic Club’s Awards Dinner on Thursday, May 19 at the Conservative Synagogue Adath Israel of Riverdale. This year’s Lifetime Achievement Award recipients included Michael Mulgrew, United Federation of Teachers president; Dr. Betty Rosa, NYS Board of Regents chancellor; Lew Goldstein, NYS Democratic Committee executive committee member; Anthony Creaney of the Disabled Veterans of America and Herbert Barret of Jewish War Veterans.
Assemblyman Dinowitz presented the club’s award to Dr. Betty Rosa, NYS Board of Regents chancellor.
