Over 150 St. Raymond High School for Boys sophomores were treated to a unique history lesson from World War II U.S. Army veteran and concentration camp liberator Alan Moskin on Monday, April 18. The Englewood, NJ-native served in the 66th Infantry 71 Division as part of General George Patton’s 3rd Army and participated in the liberation of the Gunskirchen Concentration Camp, a sub-camp of Mauthausen. After the war, Moskin remained in Europe as a member of the U.S. Army of Occupation until June 1946.

Jeffrey Sidoti (l), St. Raymond High School for Boys history department chairman, met living legend Moskin.
