On Saturday, March 12, The United Church of God on Third Avenue distributed free coats, hot soup and snacks to anyone in need. Members of the United Church of God, the NYPD Chaplin Service, the 48th Precinct, and 48th Precinct Auxiliary Police were on hand to distribute coats. The community service event was held in memory of Pastor Sarita Torres, who recently passed away.
