Calvary Hospital awarded the 2015 Eddie Higgins Scholarship to one outstanding student, Rebecca Rivera, the daughter of employee Wanda Velasquez. To win the scholarship, Rivera had to demonstrate academic excellence, financial need, and determination and spirit. She is a recent graduate of Bronx High School for the Visual Arts and will matriculate at Manhattan Community College in the fall.
