On Wednesday, June 3, the fifth annual Bronx Borough President & Allies LGBTQ Pride Awards Ceremony was held inside Billy’s Sports Bar to honor those exhibiting exceptional leadership in the LGBTQ community. This year’s honorees were Councilman Daniel Dromm; Marie Spivey, L Group coordinator; Sasha Washington, Destination Tomorrow volunteer; Damon Jacobs, licensed marriage and family therapist; Douglas Reich, MD, Bronx Lebanon Hospital’s Department of Family Medicine chairman; Vanessa Victoria, NYC Anti-Violence Project community-based counselor; and Eric Soto, Boogie Down Pride founder.
