In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the Preston High School community came together throughout October to raise funds and show solidarity for those impacted by the disease. The Student Council organized a schoolwide dress-down day, inviting students to contribute donations in support of breast cancer research.
On Thursday, Oct. 16, the Varsity and JV Volleyball teams hosted Maria Regina High School for special Breast Cancer Awareness games. All proceeds — including ticket sales, concessions and contributions to the “Wall of Hope” — were generously donated to support the cause. The Varsity Soccer team also dedicated their game on Friday, Oct. 17, against Fontbonne Hall Academy to breast cancer awareness, further extending the school’s commitment to advocacy and compassion.
