A motorcyclist was fatally struck late last night by a dump truck at the intersection of Boston Road and Waring Avenue in Allerton, the NYPD reported.
The driver of a 2019 International dump truck was moving southbound on Boston Road, turning eastbound on to Waring Avenue when another driver of a Honda CR80 motorcycle collided into the passenger side of the truck at about 10:19 p.m.
The motorcyclist was pronounced dead on site by EMS personnel and the 27-year-old truck operator remained on the scene.
The investigation is ongoing by the NYPD Highway Collision Investigation Squad and no arrests have been made at this time.
