During the Dog Days of Summer, Assemblywoman Nathalia Fernandez hosted a fun-filled ‘Bark in the Park’ celebration on Sunday, August 5 for many four-legged friends at Waring Playground. The event was sponsored by Pet Co., Animal Care Centers, Forgotten Chances Animal Rescue, Maria’s Pet Shop and Grooming, Bark and Purr Pet Store and the NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene.
Assemblywoman Fernandez (l) and residents enjoyed a sunny afternoon of doggy treats, dog portraits, giveaways, family and pet activities and raffles.
