Online Book Discussion: YA Banned Books Week: Banned Book Club

October 1, 4 pm5 pm.
Free

Description:

For Teens 13-18 years old.

Celebrate Banned Books Week: read a banned book and chat with us about it! We will discuss our chosen books, what we thought about them, and why they were banned. We will also talk about the practice of book banning: why do books get banned, is it fair to ban books, the history of book censorship, and intellectual freedom.
