In light of the Monday, August 8 attack on 49-year-old Muhammad Ali Haider in Westchester Square and the Saturday, August 13 Mosque shooting in Queens, a city public forum was held with the Bronx Muslim community on Monday, August 15 inside M.S. 127’s auditorium. The forum empowered the Bronx Muslim community with knowledge on their basic human rights and familiarize them with navigating both NYPD and city agency services.
