A suspect who critically injured a 56-year-old man in an unprovoked stabbing in the Bronx last week remains at large, according to the NYPD.
Police on Monday released surveillance footage of the alleged culprit in the May 15 attack, which occurred at 10:26 p.m. in front of an apartment building in the Soundview neighborhood of the borough.
Authorities said the unidentified suspect approached the victim from behind and stabbed him multiple times with a “sharp object,” causing serious injuries.
EMS transported the man to Jacobi Medical Center in critical but stable condition, police said.
The NYPD is asking for the public’s help in identifying the alleged suspect who was last seen fleeing the area on foot towards 172nd St.
