40th Precinct

Friday, April 19 at 12:15 p.m. — The NYPD is asking the public’s assistance identifying the individual depicted in photographs in regard to a robbery.
An unidentified individual entered into an establishment at 822 E. 149th Street, produced a needle, and threatened to harm the establishment’s employees.

The unidentified individual then reached over the counter and forcibly removed $180 in cash before departing to unknown direction.

The person wanted for questioning is described as a male Hispanic with facial hair, 25-year-old to 30-years-old, 5’7” tall, 190 pounds and was last seen wearing a gray and black sweater, black hat and gray pants. (see photo)

41st Precinct

Saturday, April 27 at 5:17 p.m. — The NYPD is asking the public’s assistance with information in regard to a robbery.

An unknown individual entered an establishment inside of 999 Southern Boulevard with a knife and proceeded to threaten employees with the blade.

The unidentified individual then reached around a counter and forcibly removed $200.

Before fleeing in an unknown direction, he ripped out phone cables and took a cellphone. (see photo)

42nd Precinct

Thursday, April 30 at 5:50 a.m. — The NYPD is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a male (see photo) wanted for questioning in connection with an assault

A 34-year-old victim was walking at a location in the vicinity of Throop Avenue and Fulton Street when an unidentified individual approached her and began to punch the victim about the face and head causing serious cuts and bruising. The individual then fled on foot southbound on Fulton Avenue.

EMS responded and transported the victim to an area hospital in stable condition.

The person wanted for questioning is described as a male Hispanic, between 30-years-old and 40-years-old, and was last seen wearing all dark clothing.

45th Precinct

Thursday, May 2 at 2:43 p.m. — The NYPD is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying three men seen in surveillance video footage wanted for questioning in a residential burglary.

Cops got a report that at a private home in the vicinity of Layton and Throgmorton avenues three individuals gained entry into the residence by forcing open the front door.

Once they got inside, the males removed a safe containing cash and jewelry totaling $5,600.

Police want to identify this person in connection with a robbery in the 52nd Precinct.

One of the individuals is a 25-years-old to 35-years-old male Hispanic. He was last seen wearing an orange traffic vest, gloves, a dark hooded sweatshirt, and white sneakers.

Another of the individuals is a male white also between 25- and 35-years-old. He was last seen wearing a dark Yankee baseball cap, Nike sweatshirt, light blue jeans, gloves and white sneakers.

The third individual is a male Hispanic between 25-years-old and 35-years-old. He was last seen wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt, dark colored baseball cap, dark blue jeans and gloves.

47th Precinct

Saturday, May 11 at 1:32 a.m. — Cops responded to a 911 call of a man shot, located at the rear of 932 E. 224th Street. Upon arrival, officers observed a 32-year-old male, lying on the ground, with a gunshot wound to the head. EMS responded to the location and transported the victim to Jacobi Medical Center, where he was pronounced deceased. As of press time, the investigation is ongoing.

52nd Precinct

Friday, May 10 at 8:50 p.m. — The NYPD is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying an individual wanted in connection to a robbery. The following has been reported to police:
The individual followed a 33 year-old female victim into the foyer of her residential apartment building in the vicinity of West 192nd Street and University Avenue and produced a knife. The individual proceeded to place a knife to the victim’s neck and demand her iPhone. He then took the iPhone and fled westbound on West 192nd Street toward University Avenue.

The individual was described as a black man, 17-years-old to 22-years-old, with hair braids. He was last seen wearing white Air Jordan 9 sneakers, a grey sweater, and black jeans with a hole by one of his knees.
