The Bronx American Legion saluted our borough’s fallen 947 World War I soldiers and veterans from other wars during the ‘11th Hour Ceremony’ at the Winged Victory Memorial on Sunday, November 11. The cermony is held every year at 11 a.m. in commemoration of Armistice Day, the day the Allies and Germany signed an Armistice signaling the end of World War I.

Bronx County American Legion members observed a moment of silence for our nation’s fallen veterans.
