The Van Nest Neighborhood Alliance toasted several exemplary community leaders at its time honored dinner dance on Friday, May 12 at 900 Park Restaurant.
This year’s outstanding honorees were Joseph Lucchese, Joseph A. Lucchese Funeral Home owner and funeral director; Jerry Weihe, Van Nest Little League president; Linda White, Community Board 11 member and lifelong Van Nest resident and 49th Precinct Community Affairs detective Jay Sturdivant, serving Van Nest for 17 years.
