Kings Harbor Multicare Center made some green while going pink by raising $1,846 for breast cancer research on Thursday, October 13.

For the first time ever, Kings Harbor Ladies’ Club joined Kings Harbor Men’s Club is selling breast cancer related items and raffles for a beautiful gift basket as welll as collecting donations.

Organized annually by Therapeutic Recreation leader Sophia McLeod, the group was excited to make their largest donation yet to the cause.

To further the cause, the Kings Harbor Team participated in this year’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Bronx Walk at Orchard Beach on Sunday, October 16.
