Performers Edge

Starts Season

Performers Edge Dancers started their season off strong. On Friday, November 7, Performers Edge dancers attended a workshop in New York City. After a long day of classes the dancers headed over to another location to Artistic Dance Exchange competition. The dancers shared the stage with so much talent which made them so anxious to hit the stage for the first time this season. Each dancer left their heart on that stage wowing the judges with the level of technique at such young ages. All soloists came in the top ten highest scoring overalls as well as their groups.

Artistic Dance Exchange is the only dance competition that gives their dancers the opportunity to compete for the chance to perform at a gala in Spain. Congratulations to Amber McCrink for winning a full scholarship to attend classes at a workshop in Spain and also to perform her winning solo at the Spain Gala during the summer of 2016.

Huge congratulations to Skylin Rodriguez, Amber McCrink, Taylor Iocovello, Serena Maldacker, Paloma Chrissotimos, Nicolette Petriello and Angelina Duran on their special invitation to perform on Thursday, May 22 at the Spring Gala in Spain for the highest scoring group at the competition. The judges as well as the director of the competition Juan Borona, were so impressed with their piece choreographed by Tokyo that they are sending them to Spain for four days.

This is a dream come true for these dancers as they are going to showcase their talent at the gala as well as performing with other talented dancers all over the world. This is only the beginning of what the future holds for these girls.

We would like to congratulate Stefanie for all her hard work she puts into each and every dancer to make sure they look perfect and Tokyo for his amazing choreography that allowed these girls the opportunity. We cannot wait to see all the pictures and hear all the amazing stories from this experience.
