Assemblyman Mark Gjonaj commemorated the accomplishments of five distinguished Bronx women during his annual Women of Distinction Breakfast. Held on Saturday, March 12 at the Pelham Bay Diner, this year’s ceremony recognized such exemplarity female leaders as Marissa Soto, Esq., general counsel to Bronx Democratic Committee and solo practitioner; Diane Cerino, former state committee woman; Andrea Siegel, Pelham Parkway Neighborhood Association president; Avril Francis, Community Relations Radio host and Barbara Stronzer, Bedford Mosholu Community Association president.

Judge Nelida Malave-Gonzalez, Bronx County Surrogate’s Court, delivered the keynote address for the prestigious event.
